Content of the session

 

 

This session will be dedicated to the practical way of implementing activities in a classical school to progressively develop more openness towards the outside, the others, the environment, supporting the development of skills on the physical, emotional, social and practical levels, as presented during the first session.

Ice breaker: 

The trainer will start the session by asking the participants what  already exists in their school, what outdoor activities they can imagine implementing, how they could develop multi-age and inter-generational grouping. 

The structure of the second lessons will be as follow:

1 What is a traditional school ? Theoretical part.

2. Ask the children. Planning non-traditional activities with children.

3. Forest days. Their planning and organization.

4. Adventure days

5. Possible problems

6. Unequal opportunities for young people to be close to nature 

7. Homework,debriefing and assessment
